Healing times depend on the method and location:

  • Gun Piercing:Minimum 6 weeks for lobes; 12 weeks for cartilage.
  • Needle Piercing:Lobes take 3–4 months, while cartilage (Helix, Tragus, Conch) can take 6–12 months to fully mature.
  • Note:Always consult our in-house piercer before downsizing your jewelry or stopping aftercare!

Clean the piercing area(s) with after piercing lotion or physiological saline (provided with your piercing session) twice a day. More frequent cleaning is necessary after excessive physical activity. Avoid touching the piercing area(s) whenever possible.

Swimming in pool and ocean, activities like sauna and hot yoga should not be performed during healing period.

Sleeping on earring might result tilted earring position, thus, sleeping on a travel pillow is recommended as well!

Needle piercing "Downsize" Rule: Your initial jewellery post is slightly longer to allow for natural swelling. Once the initial swelling goes down, please visit us to "downsize" to a shorter post. This prevents the piercing from shifting or becoming crooked!

Most people describe the sensation as a quick pinch or a localized "hot" feeling that fades quickly. Gun piercing is a fast "snap," with needle piercing a smooth, pressurized sensation. To ensure the best experience, we recommend having a meal 1–2 hours before your session and stay hydrated.

Since some people are allergic to nickel, the EU nickel directive regulates how much nickel may be released onto the skin per week.
For earrings, these are a maximum of 0.2 micrograms per square centimeter per week (i.e. 0.2 millionth of a gram).
All our piercing studs and earrings fall well below this allowable value and are thus nickel-safe and allergy free.
In fact, our piercing studs are hypoallergenic, nickel-safe, lead-, cadmium- and cobalt-free!

For our needle piercings, we primarily use Implant-Grade Titanium (ASTM F-136). This is the same material used in medical implants—it is 100% biocompatible, nickel-free, and the safest option for those with sensitive skin or metal allergies.
